This incredible display of Aztec Sandstone is the most studied and famous geographic fault in the world. It is a photographer's dream come true with 14-scheduled photo stops, which include ancient Indian Petroglyphs, pictographs, ancient Indian roasting pits and desert springs. The three thousand foot tall, multi-colored Wilson cliffs (which are ancient sand dunes) are beyond belief. Many movies have been filmed here. There is a good chance of seeing big horn sheep, wildhorses, and wild burros on this adventure. The variety of cacti, yucca,and other plant life is fascinating. We travel through a beautiful Joshua tree forest on this tour. The off-road portion of this adventure is breathtaking yet gentle enough for all ages. Includes snacks and water.
